Carpet Afterlife Kills Stains and Odors!

Recently, we announced that we're moving across the state so that I can accept a new job and so that we can be closer to our families. We've been very lucky to have lived in houses with hardwood or tile so far. This makes cleaning up pet messes easier. However, the house that we're moving to has carpet. I really like the pet photos and the font used. Any information that you may need (directions, warnings, features) are all on the label and easy to read.

I'm weird in that I smell things. I guess it comes with being an art teacher (you know you love the smell of new crayons and paper!!). The next test was the scent test. If something is too strong, it's unappealing...especially if it's chemical-based. However, I realized from reading the label that this cleaner isn't chemical-based...it's enzyme based! This is great because enzymes are what keep a pet coming back to the same place over and over. Bleach and other chemicals merely mask the problem area...but the pet can still find it! There's no harsh chemical smell and no chemical side-effects to worry about!! Yes!

Finally, I used the cleaner on the bit of carpet in our current house. I used an old sponge and toothbrush to scrub and wipe and I was amazed at the dirt that came out of the carpet! The spot looked like new in comparison!!

Kitchen Supreme Liquid Chalk Marker Review!

I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I'm a teacher! Anyone who's a teacher knows that budgets can be TIGHT! ANYTIME that I'm offered the opportunity to review a product for FREE that my students can use in the projects in the classroom, I jump at it!

Lately there's been a fad with liquid chalk markers! I was VERY excited to try these, as they combine a few mediums: paint and chalk in the format of a pen! Of course, with new things come hesitation, so I wasn't sure how they'd work. To my surprise, they work fantastically! I've used another brand of chalk markers in the past, but they weren't as fluid, easy to start, or as free-flowing as these! I currently have one on my laptop and one on a jar of cat treats! These stickers stay put, but are easily removable if you don't want them there. I tested the sticker on my laptop by rubbing some books against them and it didn't move. The staying power was strong....so I panicked and wondered if they'd come off. Sure enough, they peeled up easily!

I'm really happy with these markers because they allow for a unique way to create! I'm sure these could be used on black construction paper for cards, car window glass, and even to achieve a stained-glass effect on house windows!

Jaylie Stretch Mark Cream Review!

I've mentioned over and over the severity of my dry skin, especially on my legs. Recently I was fortunate enough to review a new razor that has helped significantly, however, there is still a bit of itching. OmegaPet Nail Clipper/File Combo Review!

Any time that I can review a PET product, I'm on it. When you've got around 30 mouths of various kinds to feed, anything helps! If I can test a product that will improve any of my pet's lives, I won't hesitate to do the work to get it!

Recently I was selected to review OmegaPet's Nail Clipper and File combo. My old pair of clippers was ancient (from my days of working at PetSmart) so I was excited to get a new pair to work with! It just so happens that I love this pair than my old pair (not something I thought I'd be saying) for several reasons! 

First: The handle is rubberized. It's easy to grip and, more importantly, hold on to. There's virtually no chance that your hand will slip mid-cut (which could result in pet injuries!). This also makes it comfortable to hold and easy to find a good angle to cut from. 

Next: The overall design is very efficient. The clippers fit in my hand, are easy to grasp, and the file slips in and out of one side of the bottom of the handles. The file is sturdy and works really well on cat nails! This isn't really a matter of use, but I love the color scheme and design! It's cute and sharp looking! They're easy to find quickly because of their coloring. 

Finally: these clippers cut quickly and with no resistance. If your clippers are being "difficult", it's time to replace them. You don't want to continue to use dull clippers or clippers that don't operate smoothly. Luckily, my old clippers hadn't reached that stage yet...they just left a lot to be desired in the comfort of holding. These clippers make cutting quick and painless.

Perennial Essentials Eco Friendly Flexible Cutting Mat Set Review!

This means that I can easily store them in any place or position. I don't have to lug out a big cutting board that's going to require me to clear a big area. 

Another convenience is that this set is color-coated. Each type (veggies, meat) has a different color and an icon. This makes it easy to see what you're reaching for and to avoid cross-contamination. 

The last bit that makes this set super convenient is the ability to HANG them! There's a hole at the edge of each one that allows for hanging from hooks, etc.

Overall, I'd highly suggest these mats if you're looking for convenience in any way!

Silicon Devices Comfort Plus Bluetooth Earphone Review

I've had my fair share of Bluetooth speakers to review, but I'd yet to be selected to review a pair of Bluetooth earphone/headphones. That changed when I was asked to review Silicon Devices Comfort Plus Bluetooth Earphones! I was really excited to try these because...as silly as it seems...they looked really futuristic. Their design was sharp and visually stimulating! Adding the lime green color in makes it really pop. The band that connects the two earbuds is durable and nice feeling (it's made of silicone).

The earbuds fit easily and comfortably in my ear. On one of the earpieces, there is a button that either turns the music up or down. It's very easy to find, and very reachable.

I had no problems connecting the earphones to my phone using Bluetooth. The process is very simple and clearly stated in the directions.

Steadi Curv Bath Pillow Review!

I like taking baths. It's not for the little kid wonder of feeling like you're in the ocean at all. That sounds really weird but when it's been a long day at work, it's just nice to be able to sit there and do nothing. I've received multiple products to test out (masks, shampoos, etc) and it's made it really relaxing. The most recent thing that I can add to this list is the Steadi Curve Bath Pillow! I'm so excited that I got to try this pillow for FREE in exchange for my honest review.

My favorite aspect of the pillow is that it's very very firm. It's almost like a much denser memory foam pillow but waterproof! It's still squishy enough to get comfortable on, though!

This pillow doesn't just float, though! I love it because it also features two suction cups on the back! This holds it where you need it to be held without any hassle. The suction cups are securely attached to back of the pillow in it's thick, waterproof skin.

I really liked this pillow for it's ability to help me relax! The back of my head normally gets sore on the tub edge (since I'm so tall) and this had helped tremendously! I'm sharing my photo from on the couch because I didn't want to risk dropping in my tablet or taking a super awkward photo haha!
